Description

After our bees work so hard to collect nectar and reduce the moisture, we keep it as raw and natural as possible. We extract (spin) the honey frames in our stainless-steel extractor, slightly straining wax and debris from our final product. We do NOT use pasteurization (high heat that destroys yeast) or ultrafiltration (removing pollen, enzymes and antioxidants).

Once complete, we add capsicum extract and vinegar (keeping acidity low to be safe). If you like fried chicken and honey – you will love hot honey on your chicken. My favorite is putting it on vanilla ice cream with crushed peanuts on top the hot honey.

Raw honey is more nutritious but may crystalize.  No worries – it is still good. Add it to a bowl of warm water. It will de-crystallize and re-liquify.
